HOTEL TERMS & BOOKING CONDITIONS
1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions govern all reservations and stays at Casa Nizza D’Oro. By making a reservation, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Casa Nizza D’Oro is a boutique hospitality property located in Castelnuovo Calcea, Piedmont, Italy, offering accommodation in a tranquil and nature-oriented environment. Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that respects the property, its surroundings, and other guests at all times.
2. Reservations
Reservations may be made through the official website, email, telephone, or third-party platforms. A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from the hotel.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation in cases of invalid payment details, non-compliance with these Terms, or errors related to pricing or availability.
3. Use of Accommodation and Guests
The reservation grants the right to occupy exclusively the room or apartment assigned at check-in. Only the persons declared at the time of booking are permitted to stay at and access the property.
The presence of non-registered persons is not permitted at any time, including for short visits, unless prior written authorization has been granted by the management. The organization of parties, events, or gatherings is strictly prohibited, unless the hotel is reserved on an exclusive use.
Guests are required to treat all areas of the property, including rooms, furnishings, equipment, and outdoor spaces, with care and respect, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable environment for all occupants.
4. Rates and Tourist Tax
All rates are quoted per room, per night, and may vary depending on season, availability, and booking conditions. Unless otherwise stated, rates include accommodation, breakfast service, and standard amenities.
Any applicable tourist tax must be paid on-site in accordance with local regulations.
5. Check-In, Check-Out and Identification
Check-in is available from 15:00 and check-out must be completed by 11:00. Guests must comply with these established times unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Early check-in or late check-out may be granted subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
In accordance with Italian law, all guests are required to present a valid government-issued identification document at check-in. Failure to provide valid identification may result in refusal of accommodation.
6. Payment and Credit Card Authorization
The hotel reserves the right to request advance payment or to pre-authorize the guest’s credit card prior to arrival.
By providing payment details, guests authorize the hotel to charge the card for the total reservation amount, applicable cancellation or no-show fees, damages, missing items, excessive cleaning, or any additional services used during the stay.
7. Cancellation, No-Show and Modifications
Unless otherwise specified at the time of booking, cancellations are free of charge if made at least 14 days prior to arrival.
Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will incur a charge equal to 50% of the total reservation amount. In the event of a no-show, 100% of the reservation amount will be charged.
Any modification to a reservation is subject to availability and may result in a change in the total price.
8. Conduct and Use of Facilities
Guests are expected to maintain respectful and appropriate behavior throughout their stay, ensuring that no disturbance is caused to other guests or the surrounding environment.
Quiet hours are observed between 22:00 and 09:00, during which guests are required to minimize noise levels. Any behavior deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate may result in intervention by the management and may lead to termination of the stay without refund.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of the property. Any violation may result in a penalty of €200, in addition to any costs related to damages or specialized cleaning.
Guests are required to use all equipment and installations responsibly. Air conditioning systems must be used with windows and doors closed. Doors and windows must be secured when leaving the accommodation.
9. Common Areas and Amenities
Common areas are available to guests during designated hours and must be used with consideration for other occupants. The shared kitchen is accessible between 08:30 and 12:00, while the tasting room is available from 09:00 to 18:00.
The tasting room may be made available for private use, such as dinners or wine tastings, upon prior agreement with the management. Additional terms and fees may apply.
Breakfast is served daily between 08:30 and 11:00.
10. Swimming Pool and Outdoor Areas
The swimming pool is available daily from 10:00 to 20:00 and must be used in accordance with safety and hygiene standards.
Guests are required to shower before entering the pool. Children may only use the pool when accompanied by a responsible adult. Running, diving, or jumping into the pool is discouraged for safety reasons.
Only plastic tableware and glasses are permitted in the pool area. For safety reasons, guests are strongly advised not to use the pool under the influence of alcohol or any substances that may impair judgment.
Guests are expected to maintain cleanliness and to avoid leaving food unattended, particularly in outdoor areas, as the property is located in a natural environment.
The management reserves the right to deny access to the pool or outdoor facilities in cases of non-compliance with these rules.
11. Children and Pets
Casa Nizza D’Oro is intended as a peaceful and adult-oriented environment. Guests must generally be at least 14 years of age. Younger children may be accommodated only in the case of exclusive property rental.
Pets are not permitted on the property, unless otherwise agreed in writing for exclusive-use bookings.
12. Housekeeping and Maintenance
Daily housekeeping is included in the stay. The hotel reserves the right to access the accommodation for cleaning, maintenance, or safety purposes.
Additional cleaning or extraordinary services requested by the guest may be subject to additional charges.
13. Damages and Liability
Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or deterioration caused to the property, furnishings, or equipment during their stay. The cost of repair, replacement, or additional cleaning will be charged accordingly.
The hotel shall not be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, except where required by applicable law.
14. Right to Refuse Service
The hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation or to terminate a stay without refund in cases of non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions, inappropriate behavior, or any situation that may compromise the safety, comfort, or well-being of other guests or staff.
15. Force Majeure
The hotel shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances.
16. Privacy
Personal data provided by guests is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and is used solely for the purposes of managing reservations and stays.
17. Third-Party Booking Platforms
For reservations made through third-party platforms, including Booking.com, the conditions confirmed at the time of booking shall prevail in the event of any discrepancy.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Italian courts.
