Casa Nizza D’Oro is set atop Gavelli Hill in Castelnuovo Calcea.
Built in the 19th century, the house once belonged to the Coppo winemaker, surrounded by the vineyards that still shape this hill today.
Originally an elegant family home, it was here that the Coppo family cultivated their renowned Chardonnay, carrying it far beyond these hills.

Nearly one hectare of Chardonnay still surrounds the house — our own golden expression of Nizza, inspiring both the landscape and our name.
We could have planted Nizza vines here. Instead, we chose to preserve the historic Chardonnay that now belongs to us.
